Kids Matter Exceeds Fundraising Goal On North Texas Giving Day

downloadKids Matter would like to give a huge “THANK YOU” to all who participated in North Texas Giving Day last September. We exceeded our goal of $10,000 because of all of YOU! Kids Matter raised $12,000 with 33 unique gifts from donors in just 18 hours! Thanks to an additional $5,000 matching gift, the total raised amounted to $16,865, which does not include bonus funds from Communities Foundation of Texas.

Communities Foundation of Texas reported that $33.1 million was donated online at northtexasgivingday.org to over 2,100 nonprofits in North Texas on September 17th of last year, beating a record $26 million from 2014.

Kids Matter aims to beat our record breaking year and exceed our goal once again this year. The funds raised on North Texas Giving Day will go toward our mission of helping children in need by providing new clothes, shoes, backpacks, and more. Kids Matter will be able to impact more children in North Texas and looks forward to another successful Giving Day in 2017.
