Ryan Palmer and RBC Raise $30,000 to Support Kids Matter

PGA Golfer, Ryan Palmer chose Kids Matter as his charity to raise funds for the RBC Golf4Kids social media challenge. Palmer was joined by over a dozen other golfers while at The Open in St. Andrews who were tasked with raising money for their charities of choice. The RBC Canadian Open will take place July 20th- 26th in Ontario and feature some of golf’s biggest names. Overall, Palmer raised $30,000 which will go to the many programs Kids Matter supports; the largest event being a program with Kohl’s to cloth 1,300 low-income children in North Texas, held annually in November.

Ryan and Jennifer Palmer and the Ryan Palmer Foundation have been catalysts in growing programs in the Kids Matter organization, from the Around the Block programs in North Texas to the Literacy Events in 11 states, this power couple has donated over 24,000 backpacks to children throughout the years. Ryan and Jennifer have not only provided young children with the right tools for a bright future in education, but they also donate their time at these events as a family.

Ryan and Jennifer were awarded the 2015 Synergy Award at the Kids Matter Charity Ball in February and Jennifer has recently taken a seat on the Kids Matter Board of Directors. We are proud to have the Palmers as key supporters, who continue to promote awareness about the organization when travelling abroad for Ryan’s tournaments. Know More about #RBCGolf4Kids
